The Tech1 Racing team has gotten off with a flying start at Motorland Aragon: before an audience of 56 000 people, Kevin Korjus (18 years old) became the youngest winner of Formula Renault 3.5 Series. Thus, Tech1’s 2011 season started extremely well with a raising performance.

Kevin Korjus and Arthur Pic proved their talent from the first meeting. The Estonian and French pilots managed to show their skill in the free rounds and the qualifying rounds.

For both of the pilots, the main purpose of these races was above all to learn.

“The outcome of the weekend is very positive”, states Simon Abadie. “Kevin led a perfect race on sunday. It’s a beautiful and impressing victory, considering his experience. He does better than Charles Pic, who was then the youngest pilot to win a Formula Renault 3.5 Series race, and better than Sebastien Vettel. Arthur also accomplished a good weekend, even though he lacked of success”.

The goal of the team for this season was to win at least one race. We can certainly say that they reached they made a promising start for this season !
